DecalWelcome!

You’ve found the Madison County, VIRGINIA, Farmers’ Market website. The farmers of the Madison County Farmers’ Market are delighted to meet and greet old and new friends at this year’s market. This gem of a market is perfect for families: spectacular views and food to impress the adults, a safe, grassy, shaded open space for kids to run around, and plenty of free, on-site parking.

2013 GRAND OPENING:
MAY 4th, 8am – 12noon
Young Farmers Pavilion (across from Hoover Ridge Park on Fairgrounds Road)
Come early for a free sample of Papa Weaver’s Sausage Links and Pancakes!

Help support your market by stopping by the farmers’ market booth and purchasing  a window decal or magnet! You can also sign up for our NEW market-wide mailing list. And if you haven’t “liked” us on facebook yet, please do! It’s where you’ll be sure to know what’s in season and who’s got it and what’s going on at the market.

We are a “Producer Only” market, so you can talk to the folks who grow and make what they sell.

You’ll find the freshest fruits and vegetables (many familiar, many unusual!), pastured, all-natural eggs, beef, pork, chicken, lamb, goat, duck, and turkey, a range of homemade baked goods and jams, plus herbs, specialty wools, honey, and more.

Make sure to come out the first Saturday of every month: We have special events along with samples of delicious dishes made from local ingredients. And yes, we now accept SNAP!

See you at the Market!

P.S. You can help get this farm fresh food to Madison County residents who need it by bringing extra produce to the Groaning Board station at the market, where a friendly volunteer accepts donations of produce and gets it where it needs to go.
