About Us

A Community Collaboration

Madison County Farmers’ Market is a not-for-profit member association. It was organized in 2008 under the guidance of the Madison County VCE Agent, Brad Jarvis. The Madison County Farmers’ Market is now governed by the Farmers’ Market Board, nominated and selected by farmers’ market voting members.

Our market is a producer-only market, meaning that at least 75% of the products offered are grown or made by the seller.

We are grateful to our volunteers from the VCE Master Gardeners. They are dedicated to working with the community to encourage and promote environmentally sound horticulture practices through sustainable landscape management educational programs.

Because of our loyal customers, our farmers market has continued to grow!

Eating healthy is easier when you can just ask a farmer

Every vendor at our market knows where their products came from and how they were created. Got questions? Just ask.

Eating local means better taste and supporting family farms

Our vendors represent many local farmers and artisans, working together to build a strong local food economy.

Meet friendly faces and neighborly people

We enjoy selling our products to people we know. Come on down and strike up a conversation, we’re always ready to chat.
